Abstract German (version: 25/06/2002 - 07:47, size: 1974) German: Gegenstand des Vortrags soll das Instrument „Quasimeto“ sein, welches als Methodenentwicklung innerhalb meiner Diplomarbeit des Studiengangs Psychologie zur Transformation von synchronen Datenerhebungsmethoden der Qualitativen Sozialforschung wie Interview oder Gruppendiskussion auf das Medium Internet entwickelt wurde. Das Instrument erlaubt die synchrone Datenerhebung und deren quantitative Auswertung inklusive automatischer Transkription mit einem oder mehreren Gesprächspartnern über beliebige Entfernungen via Computer. Vor dem theoretischen Hintergrund vor allem der Qualitativen Sozialforschung und der Online-Forschung wird dessen Entstehungsprozess expliziert. Die Entwicklung richtet sich nach dem Ansatz des „Early Rapid Prototyping“, ergänzend zu diesem Ansatz wird die Anwendung methodologischer Prinzipien der Qualitativen Sozialforschung und die Methodentriangulierung von Theorieanalyse, Experteninterview, Methodenvergleich und Feldarbeit geschildert. Nachfolgend wird das Instrument selbst vorgestellt. Das Instrument unterteilt sich funktional in drei Module. Über das „Administrationsmodul“ können Rahmenparameter beeinflußt werden, die sich auf Aussehen und Funktionalität des „Datenerhebungsmoduls“ auswirken. In einem „Auswertungsmodul“ sind erste quantitativ basierte Analysen der Datenerhebung realisierbar und Exportmöglichkeiten zur weiteren quantitativen und qualitativen Analyse mit anderen Programmen vorhanden. Zur Absicherung der Methodenentwicklung kam die selbstentwickelte Form eines Usability-Fragebogens bei drei „Ernstfall-Datenerhebungen“ von eigens dafür geschulten Moderatoren zum Einsatz, der von diesen im direkten Anschluß ausgefüllt wurde. Auch diese Ergebnisse, welche für ein hohes Qualitätsniveau von Quasimeto sprechen, sollen abschließend vorgestellt werden. Article (version: 25/06/2002 - 07:47, size: 1419) Quasimeto: A tool for performing interviews and online-focus-groups This contribution is about the tool "Quasimeto", which was designed for the diploma within the study of psychology. It deals with performing psychological interviews one-to-one or one-to-many or group-discussions (online-focus-groups) over the internet. Gathering data in a synchronous way is as possible as getting quantitative results or automatic transcriptions. The tools' genesis is shown within the theoretical background of qualitative research and online research. On the one hand the development itself was done as known from "Early Rapid Prototyping", on the other hand the utilization of methodological principles of qualitative research and the combination of theory, interviews with experts and field work is shown. Furthermore the tool itself is shown. It differs in three modules. The modul of administration allows the handling of parameters, which have influence for look and functionality of the interview-modul. The third modul, dealing with the results, allows first quantitative analysis and offers export-formats for further statistical or qualitative reflection. A first small evaluation was done with a self-developed kind of usability-questionnaire, therefor three interviewers have been trained with Quasimeto. The results, attesting good quality of the designed tool, are mentioned as well. |
